BoomAration is the intelligent alternative to those other social networks (you know who) where Boomer's and their families come to build a real community.
Our intent with BoomAration is to build a site that
Boomer's can call their own, a place to share experiences,
discuss what is important to us and to build friendships with other Boomer's around the globe.
As Boomer's we face many challenges: from raising
our families, putting our kids through college and many of us are now also taking care of our parents. Not to mention planning for retirement or getting used to retirement.
We need a place where we can go and ask for advice, share our own experiences, learn from others, have fun, laugh cry and just let our hair down, at least a little.
There are a lot of groups, blogs and points of interest contained
within BoomAration and there is plenty of room for each of you to
create your own page, start your own discussions and add a group
that interests you.
There is a poem that I really love that kind of sums up what we
can explore together at BoomAration.
It reads:
Life is a book in three volumes-
The past, the present and the yet-to be.
The past is written and laid away,
The present we're living every day,
And the last and best of volumes three, Is Locked from site----God keeps the key.
